Leaders

volunteersThe Award scheme is always looking for volunteer leaders. You do not need to have done The Award to be involved as all training will be provided. We are looking for people of all backgrounds and abilities to lead in a range of activities. Some examples of how you could volunteer are:

  • Group leaders and helpers
  • Expedition supervisors
  • Office workers
  • Sports instructors
  • First Aid instructors
  • Loads more!

Get in touch and arrange an informal meeting to discuss some options or complete the Leader application and send into us.

Training is available to current leaders - view the Volunteer Training Opportunities and the Expedition Training Plan to keep your skills up to date.

For Anyone interested in the expedition side of things visit The Eagle Club website. This provides information on the adventure club open to anyone interested in walking, climbing, canoeing, cycling or any other outdoor activity.

And here's a bit of inspiration for you - a complete list of all of the activities undertaken by young people in Edinburgh in 2006

For expedition forms and other Award material please see the Resources Section.
